OBITUARY

Bert Rozelle

ELLSWORTH -- Bert Rozelle, 81, Ellsworth, died Friday, October 20, 1995, at his home.

Mr. Rozelle was born Feb. 1, 1914 in Ellsworth County and was a longtime area resident. He was a rural mail carrier for 43 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ellsworth Masonic Lodge 146 and Order of the Easter Star, and a life member of the American Legion, all of Ellsworth. He was also a member of the Rural carriers Association and the Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association. He was in the Army Air Corps, serving in World War II.

Survivors include his wife Adrien of the home; a son, Brian of Arkansas City; a brother, Louis of Thornton, Colo; a sister, Mabel Kootz of Ellsworth; four step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, the Rev. Al Hysom officiating. Burial will be in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery with Masonic rites.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Ellsworth.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home, 307 N. Lincoln, Ellsworth 67439.
