Constance was the daughter of George W Adams and Margaret Flaherty, and sister of Margaret.
Constance and her mother, Margaret, died in a fire at their home at 2427 Meredith Street in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. The family had lived at the home for about a year. Her father, sister Margaret, and a neighbor were injured in a vain attempt to rescue the mother and daughter.
Their funeral service was at St. Francis Xavier Church.
