Cecil W. Bradeen, age 90, passed away at his residence, 398 Rosevale Road in Grand Junction, Colorado, Saturday, January 16, 1999.

Funeral services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Grand Junction, Thursday, January 21, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Wednesday, January 20, 1999, 9am-5pm. Interment will be held at the Palisade Municipal Cemetery, Palisade, Colorado.

Cecil is survived by his wife Gladys Bradeen of Grand Junction; 2 step sons, W. C. Riggle and his wife (Geri) of Grand Junction, D. E. Riggle and his wife (Rena) of Arizona; 2 step daughters, Louise Hartsough of Grand Junction and Dorothy McCain and her husband, Doyle. He is also survived by one brother, George Bradeen of Decator, Michigan; and 4 sisters, Bernice Simon, Etta Kuras and Beatrice Butcher, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Barbara Filpen of Portage, Michigan. Cecil is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Cecil was born July 24, 1908 in Edmore, Michigan to Albert Earl and Edna Gay Bradeen. He later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan where he spent 62 years of his life. In 1939, Cecil married Blanch Bender, they were married for 50 years before her passing in 1989. In 1992, he married Gladys M. Riggle. She resides in Grand Junction.
