Niles A. Boyts, 71, of Manhattan, retired farmer, passed away yesterday morning at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. Funeral services are to be held at the Manhattan Presbyterian Church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Born September 18, 1868, at Goshen, Ind., Niles Arthur Boyts was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boyts. He farmed near Jordan, Mont., for a number of years. After retiring, he came to Manhattan five years ago.

Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Marietta Boyts; two sons, Arthur W. Boyts and Eugene E. Boyts, Manhattan; a daughter, Mrs. L. F. (Mary) Plett, Three Forks; a brother, John E. Boyts, Goshen, Ind., three sisters, Mrs. E. M. Hess, Mrs. H. A. Clover and Mrs. Mary Thomas, all of Goshen, and five grandchildren.
