Rita was a compassionate and loving soul to all of her family and dear friends. An avid bowler, her only regret was never having bowled a perfect 300 game. She was, however, pleased with her several 600+ series and numerous high 500's series games.
Rita's oldest daughter, Merle Williams, passed away in 1993. She is now survived by her devoted children, son Robert Bly of Fresno and daughter Delphine Blankenship of Chula Vista, as well as by her sisters and lifelong friends, Hilde Franklin of Chula Vista and Clara Taylor of Imperial Beach, CA. Her loving family also includes five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her very much.
Services will be held Sunday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Salli Lynn Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park.
