Royal Wheeler (Squire) Broughton, 40, 800 West 5th, died of a heart attack Tuesday evening at Santa Rosa, Calif.
Born Nov. 12, 1930 in Hutchinson, he was a student at Santa Rosa Junior College. A member of Northminister Presbyterian Church and the Hutchinson Moose Lodge, he attended Hutchinson schools.
Survivors include his mother Mrs. R. A. Broughton of the home; sons: Michael and David, Tucson, Ariz.; sisters : Mrs. Monica Battershell, 818 Pierce; Mrs. Mary Lipe, 917 Lincoln; Mrs. Mae McGuire, 402 West 14th.
