Arthur Austin Denham, 94 years of age, departed this life on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Austin was born in Pulaski County., Kentucky on January 12th, 1914, son of the late Austin and Bercille Denham. Austin worked most of his life in the log woods, he was a kind and gentle person who is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Austin was survived by one son, Stanly Denham of Somerset, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Greg Lee Denham and Kimberly Renee Denham; one great grandson, Greg Lee Bray Jr.; several half brothers and sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin Denham and Bercille Denham; his loving wife, Iva Dale Harrison Denham; and one daughter, Margaret Lucille Denham, who died in infancy.
Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th, 2006 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Love Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
