Best known for playing the role of Usagi Tsukino in the live action musical version of "Sailor Moon". She also did theme songs for "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch(2003)", and starred in "Battle Royale II(2003)","Kamen Rider Hibiki(2005-2006)", and its movie,"Kamen Rider Hibiki& The Seven Fighting Demons(2005)" .

She was chosen out of 500 women to play the role of Usagi Tsukino, and won the role for going above and beyond what was reccomended of her. Miyuki loved to wear vintage clothing and design, and around the time of her death, was interested in pursuing a career in fashion designing. She was also interested in photography also.

She was to cast in the role of Eponine in the Japanese production of Les Miserables, but was forced to quit due to poor health.

She died on June 18, 2008 at Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture at 4:08 am due to sudden heart failure. She died in the presence of loved ones and family members, and was at peace. She recieved a private funeral on June 21, 2008 at Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture with some celebrities, such as Shoko Nakagawa,her close friend, attending.
