'Mrs. Jennie Amber, 85, of Oskaloosa died Mar. 17 at Pleasant Park Nursing Home, Oskaloosa. Born Dec. 18, 1890 in Monroe county she was the daughter of William and Eunice Clair. She was married to Claude Amber, who died in 1945. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Green of University Park and Mrs. Betty Harbaugh of Woodstock, Ga.; seven sons, William, Max, Eugene, and Jim Amber all of Oskaloosa, Robert of Delta, Joe of Carlsbad, N.M., and Fred of Carson, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Jones and Mrs. Iva O'Brien both of Lovilia and Mrs. Jessie Wynn of Albia, three brothers, Minos Clair of Lovilia, Dewey Clair of Attica, and Emerson Clair of Illinois, several grand and several great grandchildren. Services were held at 1 p.m. at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Lovilia with Elder W.R. Baughman officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia.'
