Mrs. Dora Mae Alexander, age 70, wife of Thomas James Alexander, of R.R. 8, Bobenmyer Road, passed away Friday at 12:45 a.m. at her home of complications after a period of poor health which has extended over the past nine years.

Mrs. Alexander was born March 8, 1864, a daughter of James and Mary Hasson Cook of Adams County, Ohio. She has been a member of the Lindenwald M.E. Church for many years.

Surviving are the widower, seven sons; Phillip, Fred, Edward, Ralph, and Bert of Hamilton, Ohio, and Ben of Arkansas and Clint of Darrtown, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Evans, and Mrs. Arnold Spurlock of Hamilton, and Mrs Edward Orth of Portsmouth, Ohio; two brothers, Creston Cook of Iowa and John Cook of Indiana; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held from the residence Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. E.W. Elrod, of the Lindenwald M.E. Church officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence any time after 1 p.m. Sunday.
