Beloved wife of the late Wallace J. Abelt. Cherished mother of Larry (Diana) Abelt, Diane (Lee) Wagner and Karen (Bob) Swinko. Dear grandmother of Larry Jr., Lloyd (Debby), Lori (Jim), Tammy (Dave), Donna (Rob), Todd (Jolene), Dawn and Rich (Carol). Further survived by 15 great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
Verna was a member of the Red Hat Society in Peoria, Arizona.
Visitation at the Funeral Home FRI., Nov. 7, 2008, from 12 noon - 2 PM. Funeral services at 2 PM. Entombment to follow at Forest Home Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
