Michael C. Bellew died in Binghamton Tuesday afternoon following a six months' illness. One of nine sons born to Joseph and Catherine (Casey) Bellew of Worcester, only three of whom survive, Joseph, William and Henry, all residing here. Mr. Bellew in his younger days taught school and also was in the mercantile business in Schenevus. For thirty years he was connected with the Arlington Hotel in Binghamton, first as clerk and later as manager ... Other surviving relatives are three nephews, Harold of Oneonta, Joseph, residing in Albany and Martin Bellew of Brooklyn. Funeral services will be held from St. Joseph's church Friday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. John P. O'Brien will officiate and interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery."
