Aguilar -- Arnalfa Aguilar, 77, passed away March 1, 2002. She was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Arnalfa was preceded in death by her son, Richard Aguilar, granddaughter, Trinidad Valdez, parents, Abel and Trinidad Perea. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jesus Aguilar; children, Michael Aguilar and wife, Alice, Josephine Trujillo and husband, Anthony, Dolores Valdez, Paul Aguilar and fiancé, Hazel, Anna Sanchez and husband, Robert; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Stella Montoya and husband, Harry; brother, Johnny Perea; brother-in-law, Solomon Aguilar; sister-in-law, Eloisa Aguilar; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2002. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 with burial following at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
