Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Sempronius Baptist Church for Mrs. Edith May Aber, 56, who died Monday afternoon at her home in Sempronius, following a heart attack. Rev. Ralph Smith will officiate, assisted by Rev. Fred Whiting. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Dresserville. A prayer service at the convenience of the family, will be held at 12 noon, at the home of Mrs. Earl Murphy, of Sempronius.
Mrs. Aber was born in Urbana, Steuben County, May 18, 1889. She had resided in Sempronius during the past 17 years.
Mrs. Aber is survived by her husband, Ralph Aber; five sons, Hilem of Geneva, Alfred of Chester, Pa., Glenn of Moravia, Lynn of Fleming and Philip of Sempronius; also by six daughters, Mrs. Earl Downing and Mrs. John Montgomery of Syracuse, Miss Ruth Aber, U.S.M.C., stationed at Santa Ana, Calif.; Miss Isabella Aber of Cortland and Miss Shirley Aber of Sempronius.
