TAR HEEL — Mildred Jordan Martin, 82, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 7, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Martin, Sr.; one brother, David Jordan; one sister, Annie Ruth Jordan and her parents, Thomas and Annie Jordan.
She is survived by three children; Della Ann Martin and husband Marvin, James Fred Martin, Jr. and wife Rhonda, Terri Lynn Martin and husband Chris; 13 grandchildren: Danny, Shane, Melanie, Jamie, Freddie, Thomas, Daniel, Lydia, Eric, Jodie, Christopher, Ethan and Jordan; 11 great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Brittany, Marty, David, Neil, Noah, Destiny, Shay, Angel, Michael and Matthew and two great-great-grandchildren; Joseph and Jacob.
Family and friends will be received at Love Grove Baptist Church Friday night, March 11, from 7 to 9 p.m..
Funeral services will will be held at Love Grove Baptist Church in Tar Heel on Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Scrivens Family Graveyard.
