Eric Marcus Abeyta, age 26, of Smackover, a loving father of four and cherished son, went to be with his Savior Friday, March 27, 2015. Mr. Abeyta was born December 4, 1988 in Eldorado, a son of George Abeyta and Susan Dalton Abeyta. He served as a Specialist E4 in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Iraq War. Mr. Abeyta was a hardworking millwright with West Fraser at Huttig and of the Baptist faith. He was a proud father and loved spending time with his family. Some of his favorite hobbies were barbequing, fishing and spending time outdoors. Mr. Abeyta was preceded in the death by his grandfather, Weldon "Peck" Golden; grandmother, Marquitta "Pat" Dalton.
