"Mr. Michael Boehnre, a well known cigar maker and retail tobacconist, died yesterday morning, after a lingering illness, of consumption. His funeral will take place from his late residence on Rutledge and Miller streets at two o'clock to-day, thence to the German Lutheran Church. He was about twenty-six years of age and leaves a wife and two children, who have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad bereavement. He was esteemed by all who knew him."
