Paul J. Allen, age 84, of Demorest, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on June 30, 1928, he was the son of the late Arvil and Nell (Power) Allen. Mr. Allen was a retired supervisor with Scovill Manufacturing where he worked for over 30 years. He was a member of Habersham Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Bud Allen, Frank Allen, Charles Allen, Doug Allen, Thelma Chase and Jean Nations.
Funeral services were held November 3, 2012 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. Interment followed in Amy's Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
