Miriam Green Andersen, 85, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on September 29, 2017. Born April 3, 1932 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Matthews Green, Sr. and Vergie Lucas Green.
Miriam is preceded in death by both parents and a son, Mark Robert Andersen. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cristen Delphin Andersen, Jr.; daughter, Kathryn Avirett (Joe); four grandsons; two granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
Miriamโs family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service beginning 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ , 11924 San Jose Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida 32223. In lieu of flowers donations in Miriamโs memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, or First Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
