THIS MEMORIAL IS TO HONOR OUR VERY SPECIAL DAD WHO BLESSED OUR LIVES WITH HIS PRESENCE, WHO CONTINUES TO BLESS US WITH HIS PRECIOUS MEMORY & WHOM WE DEEPLY LOVE AND MISS.

To this very day I can remember the very first time we met. Meeting someone who could possibly be your future dad-in-law can be a little nerving. What would be his impressions of me? In the summer of 1989, the moment I looked into his eyes and saw his warm smile that uncertainty was put to rest and in 1990 my life was fixin' to change…for the better.

Edwin was a very loving and caring man. He was a great husband, dad, brother, grandpa, friend and to me the greatest dad-in-law. He was always there if you needed anything. He had a knack of giving you advice but being sure not to cross the lines.
He had a special gift in knowing when something was troubling his family and had a tender way in letting us know he was here for us when we needed him.

Though I only had the privilege of having him in my life for 16 short years he left a deep impression of love and respect in my heart and soul that no one could possibly know.

The day we lost him will forever be engraved in our minds and hearts. But, we know he is in a much better place and in the loving arms of his mom and dad.

He's thought of every second of every day, Loved & Missed beyond measure.

So, we say to our dad…"OOGA-OOGA MOOSHKA" FOREVER & ALWAYS. One of Dad's favorite songs.

WHEN I'M GONE

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I have stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And I won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going.
I would not have you sad for a day.
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay,
And come in the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west,
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.

You Will Be Remembered When Flowers Bloom In Spring. And In The Summertime Remembered, In The Fun That Summer Brings. You Will Be Remembered, When Fall Brings Leaves Of Gold. In The Wintertime, Remembered, In The Stories That Are Told. And You Will Be Remembered, Each Day Right From The Start. For The Memories That Were Once Shared, Forever Live Within The Heart.

FISHERMAN'S PRAYER

Dear Lord, I pray,
Let me fish 'til
That certain day,
And when your net
Is cast into the deep,
I pray you judge
And find me fit to keep,
When in your home
O'Lord I say,
Forever may
I fish and stay

Dad your life was full of loving deeds,
Forever thoughtful of our special needs,
Today and tomorrow, our whole life through,
We will always love and cherish you.
