Services for Lula Mae Cooper, 86, of Quitman were held Sept. 20 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with the Revs. Ronnie Thompson, Jimmy Pyles and H.M. Roach officiating. Burial followed at the Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died Sept. 18 at Lincoln General Hospital.
Born May 2, 1915 in Ballinger, Texas, Mrs. Cooper was a home maker.
She is survived by her husband, Adriel M. Cooper of Quitman; daughters, Beth Cook and husband Bobby of Baton Rouge and Marilyn Dianne Cooper Watson and husband Velton of Quitman; sons, Charles Adriel Cooper and wife Martiel of Quitman, Dwight Cooper and wife Judy of Chatham, Donnie Cooper and wife Helen of Quitman, Gary Cooper and wife Celeste of Baton Rouge and Stanley Cooper and wife Lee of Perth, Australia; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brent Cooper, Lavelle Cooper, Marty Cooper, Michael Cooper, Danny Huddleston and Craig Watson. Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
