CIVIL WAR SERVICE: Private Bagley enlisted 20 Nov 1863 to Co. B, 29th Infantry Regiment, Me. Volunteers. He would muster into active service 30 Dec 1863 at Augusta. He was described as a single farmer from the town of Troy standing 5' 8" with blue eyes & light hair. He mustered out of service 21 Jun 1866 at Hilton Head, South Carolina. In the 1890 Vet Census he was shown as suffering from malarial poisoning.
