My paternal grandmother was born named Hedwig Gertrud Schulze in Bad Düben and grow up with two siblings: Margarethe († about 1994) & Gerhard (†2021).
On 24 August 1946 she married Gustav Rudolf Freund. They become parents of six children. Four of them already dead: Horst ( *1955 - †1997) __ Otto ( *1951 - †2001) _ Barbara (*1946 - †2012) _ Peter (*1948 - †2016)
She died from suffocation as a result of diabetes, aged 62.
