The way the holy prophets went
The road that leads from banishment
The Kings high way of holiness
I'll go for all his paths are peace
*Thanks to Michelle Amsbury who pointed out that the inscription is from a hymn (written by John Cennick, 1718-1755). In that case, the first four lines would be:
“Jesus my All to heaven is gone
He whom I fix my hopes upon
His track I see and I’ll pursue
The narrow way to him I view”
Gravesite Details
