Claude Alexander, Sr. obituary - 2006
Claude Alexander, Sr., 68 of Providence, died Friday, April 7 at Regional
Medical Center in Madisonville.
A native of Webster County, he was a retired steel worker and a member of the
Second Baptist Church in Providence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2001; a son, Claude, Jr. in 2003;
three sisters, Ethel Cates, Helen Henry and Virginia Reed and one brother, Jesse
Alexander.
Survivors include one daughter, Marion A. Keilitz of Allegan, Michigan; one son,
Franklin Alexander of Providence; two brothers, Frank Alexander of Gary, Indiana
and Henry Alexander of Diamond; four sisters, Dale Woodall and Judy Quisenberry
of Providence, Ruby Alexander of Clay and Wilma Rodgers of Rabbit Ridge and
three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:00 from Townsend-Jones Funeral
Home with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating.
Burial was in New Hopewell Cemetery in Webster County. **
