Floyd "Buck" Alt, 95, of Madison Twp., died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center Hospital in Scranton. His wife, Edith Skelton Alt, died May 7, 1996. Born in Madison Twp., son of the late John and Jenny Biesecker Alt, he graduated from Moscow High School. Buck was a lifelong dairy farmer. He raised bees and enjoyed trapping and spending time in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed piloting his airplane, often flying to help the state Game Commission track black bears. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Larissa; and a sister, Elizabeth Schall. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Elmhurst Twp. A viewing will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
