A follower of 'Sir William Courtenay', alias John Thom. She was living on her parents' farm at Bossenden when the so-called 'Battle of Bossenden Wood' took place. She washed and laid out Thom's body after he was killed, and fervently believed that he would rise from the dead. Disappointed in this, she subsequently moved to a house called 'The Lawns', Kennington, where she died a spinster.
