GEORGETOWN — Naomi Hayes Bacon, 76, died Tuesday, August 14, at Caribou Memorial Hospital. She was born October 26, 1902, in Wardboro, to Arthur Edward and Marantha Briscoe Haddock. She married Horace A Hayes March 10, 1921 in the Logan LDS Temple Hayes died December 29, 1943 She later married Owen Bacon May 9, 1946, in the Idaho Falls Temple Bacon died December 10, 1973. Mrs. Bacon lived in Georgetown since moving there in 1921. She had been employed at the Post Office and Sleight Cash Store from 1944 until retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Georgetown LDS Ward where she served as president of the Relief Society and had been very active in the various organizations of the ward. She had also been an active temple worker. She was noted for her handiwork and crafts. Survivors include two sons and five daughters, Loran A. Hayes and Rex Hayes, both Soda Springs, Mrs. Ann Barkdull and Mrs. James (Blanche)Smith, both Georgetown; Mrs. Lloyd (Alice) Hansen, Mrs Hyrum (Ramona) Weighall, and Mrs Carroll (Janiece) Hildreth, all Soda Springs, one brother and one sister, Loyal Haddock, Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs.
Bryan (Lorna) Haddock, Blooming ton; 26 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren . She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Leroy Hayes, and one grandson, Craig Hansen In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Children's Hospital or to the Heart Association. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 18, at the Georgetown LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Floyd Clark conducting. Services were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home, Soda Springs, with interment in Georgetown.
