WOODBURN - LaVerne M. Adams, 82, of Eugene, a former resident of Woodburn, died Tuesday in a Eugene hospital.
Born in Salem, she made her home in Woodburn from 1930 until 1960, when she moved to Central Point. She moved to Eugene three years ago. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Holcomb, Eugene; two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of Cornwell Mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the Oregon Heart Fund.
