Mary Juanita Adkins 62, of Hilldale formally of Hinton died at 12:30 pm Monday August 23, 2004 in the Summers County Continues Care Center at Hilldale following a long illness.
Born February 14, 1942 at Pemberton WV she was a daughter of the late Andrew Grover Cleveland and Lydia Ellen Guess Tate.
Mary was a member of the Holiness Church and loved to attend church services throughout the Hinton area as long her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her son Bobby Jack Adkins and by five brothers.
Survivors include her husband Emmett Adkins of Hinton. Her daughter Sandy Ward Kincaid of Hilldale. Three sisters Margaret Surbaugh, Elsie Harrah and Shirley Ward all of Hinton.
Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call at the Funeral Parlor from noon till time of service on Wednesday.
