Christian Douglas Adamek, 15, Huntsville, Ala., died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home with the Rev. Paige S. Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Tallahassee, Fla., he was born Oct. 17, 1997, the son of Daniel and Angela Smithson Adamek.
He attended Sparkman High School, Huntsville, and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 201.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Nathaniel Zachary Adamek, Huntsville; his maternal grandparents, John and Kay Smithson, Hopkinsville; and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Carol Adamek, Dayton Beach, Fla.
