Yetta (Sedletsky) Blake, 95, of 307 Chestnut St., co-owner of the former Blake's House of Banquets, died Sunday in Baystate Medical Center.

Along with her late husband, she ran the business from 1945 until 1971.

She was an instructor of mixology at the Springfield Technical Community College and the Holyoke Community College.

Born in New York City, she lived here most of her life.

She was active in the Jewish Community Center and a volunteer at Shriners Hospital. She was a lifelong member of the Temple Beth El and its Sisterhood and active in the Springfield chapter of Amit Women. She was a member of the Jewish Nursing Home of Western Massachusetts.

Her husband, William H. Blake, died in 1967. She leaves three sons, Ernest and Dr. Arnold Blake, both of Longmeadow, and Dr. Melvin Blake of New York City; a daughter, Rhoda Kalicka of Clearwater, Fla., and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at noon at the Harold R. Ascher and Son Memorial Chapel, with burial in City of Homes Cemetery . Memorial observance will be at the home of Ernest Blake, 7 Viscount Road, Longmeadow, with evening services Tuesday and Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Community Center or to any charity.
