The only Ethel Alderson I was able to locate was living in New York in 1905, although it is said that she was listed in an 1880 census, which I could not find. She is buried in the Palestine Cemetery, row 16, Palestine, Benton County, Oregon. When her father passed in 1898, he was listed on the reverse side of her headstone and buried next to her in the Palestine Cemetery, row 16, Palestine, in Benton County, Oregon. Her's was such a short life, but, sadly, it was something that happened all too frequently in the 1800's.
