These dear little boys never even drew their first breaths, were stillborn on Dec 14th, 1911 and were apparently born at home. Their father was Orin W. Anderson and their mother was Elsie (Reinbold) Anderson, both natives of Omaha, Nebraska, who had settled in Albany, Linn County, Oregon in about 1909, two years before their births. Orin and Elsie would later be blessed with three more children: William O., b. 1914, Robert H., b. Aug 1915, and Gertrude M., b. 1922, all in Oregon. Orin worked in the 1920's & 1930's as an auto dealer and the family lived in a home they had bought in town, on Eighth Ave., valued at $5500 in 1930. They later divorced, however, and Orin remarried, for a time, to a woman named Bertha, an Oregon native, b.1894. Just Orin and Bertha lived in Orchards, Clark County, Washington in 1940 when the census was taken on Apr 3, 1940. He was working as a laborer at that time. He again divorced before 1948, and became manager of an apartment building in Albany, Oregon. He died just 10 days before his 60th birthday, on July 9th, 1948, from a cerebral hemorrhage, at the Albany Hospital and was buried near his twin sons at Riverside Cemetery in Albany, Linn Co., Oregon. I can only assume that their mother remarried, although I've not been able to locate her under her new name (or under Anderson or her maiden name, either). I would be more than happy to add her on as the mother of these dear children, for she carried them for almost nine months and I'm sure that she must have wondered, from time to time, about what could have been, had one or both of them lived. May they all Rest in Peace, together, now and forever, in Paradise.
