On his death certificate it is Dan Cecil.

In 1930- Dan was an inmate at Jefferson City Missouri for the theft of a car. Sentenced to four years. He escaped and fled to Fresno California. He later returned to Mountain Grove to take Lettie with him to the Pacific coast, he was captured and returned to prison.
