Bernice, born to Henry and Clara Roebke, died at her home. Surviving Bernice were her children Dale L. Andersson (wife Brenda), Carrol L. Fedelleck (husband Bob) and Sandy K. Peeso (husband Tom), 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Carl, a great-grandson, and her two brothers. She graduated from North High School, received a BS Degree from DU, and trained at Children's Hospital to become a Registered Nurse. She worded as a Traveling Nurse and a School Nurse. When her children were all in school she returned to school to become one of the first Cytotechologist in Colorado. She opened the first laboratory at Denver Health and Hospitals. She worked until rheumatoid arthritis forced her into retirement.

While Bernice was a Traveling Nurse, she met Carl A. Anderson. They were married june 25, 1943, and spent their life in the Metro Denver area. One of their greatest pleasures was being in mountains. They built a mountain cabin in Frisco, Colorado, and spent many years hiking and fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Memorial Service held November 28 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorial contributions may be made to Denver Arthritis Foundation, 2280 S. Albion St., Denver, Colorado 80222.
