Charlene, mother of four and grandmother of eight, was 86. When Metropolitan State College of Denver was founded in 1965, she was the first librarian from before volume one. Her love of education also called her participation in creating Brighton Heritage Academy and long time service on its Accountability Committee. She was also a published author. Funeral Service held December 29th at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Memorial donations made to Metropolitan State University or Brighton Heritage Academy.
