Fred grew up in Grand Valley and Swan Valley. On October 16, 1948, he married Barbara Ann Page in Idaho Falls, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Fred and Barbara raised their six children in Idaho Falls, where Fred was the first licensed journeyman lineman for City of Idaho Falls, where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Later-day Saints and enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, scouting and horses. His greatest love was his family. Survivors beside Barbara included: sons Stevan C. (Julie), Robert William (Carolee), Clayton Clemance (Kris), Drew H. (Shawna), and Vaughn W.; Kendall's wofe Wanda Adams of Rexburg; sisters Helen Meyer, Nita Beasley, and Billie Morgan of Emmet; brother Conroy (Arlene); 26 grandchildren; and 57 great grandchildren. Preceding were grandsons Clinton Fred Adams and William Fred Adams, brother William Heber Adams, and sisters Elmina Grant, Lucetta Jacobson, Shirley Longacre, Renee Pietila and Rita Pinney. Graveside services held July 19th. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home East.
