He was a missionary to Mexico and founded the ministry of Semillas De Esperanza (Seeds of Hope) and directed this mission until 2005. While pastoring in South Chicago he officiated countless gang related funerals taking every advantage to preach the message of hope and salvation to the lost and dying.

He enjoyed camping, being out in nature, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a loving father and a great example of a life dedicated to Christ. He enjoyed conversations on any subject with family and friends. He was quick to smile and had a tremendous sense of humor. He was a wonderful musician and singer and was happy to teach others how to praise the Lord in song and worship. He was a man after God’s own heart. Wake held August 8th at The Healing Place in Brighton.
