EMERSON V. ALTMAN
TESCOTT — Emerson Virgil Altman, 57,
Tescott farmer-stockman, died Tuesday at
his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Jan. 18, 1916 in Lincoln county.
He had served in the infantry overseas
during World War 2.
Survivors include the widow, Betty, of the
home; 2 daughters, Mrs. Roy Von Fange,
Lincoln, and Mrs. Ralph Smith, Bennington;
2 sisters. Mrs. Ada Harris, Minneapolis, and
Mrs. Hazel Bremerman, Miltonvale; 4
brothers, Swinley, Minneapolis; Clayton,
919 McAdams Rd; Leonard, 2033 Highland,
and Max, 2172 Edward, all of Salina, and a
granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 2:30 pm Friday at
the Haley funeral home in Minneapolis, the
Rev. C. D. Boese officiating. Burial will be
in Franklin cemetery at Tescott with military
graveside services by the Tescott
American Legion.
