Master Sergeant Tobias Lagenstein who lived in Wildeshausen, lost his life in a suicide attack on soldiers participating in a safety meeting.

Tobias whose friends and comrades describe him as a great sportsman who enjoyed playing German football and snowboarding, was a person who just loved life itself, as much as his job for the 152nd Hanover Military Police Bataillon.

His last mission was the protection of General Major Markus Kneip who has got the regional command of the ISAF troops and was also seriously injured in the attack that cost Tobias' life.

Tobias leaves behind to mourn him a family, many friends and comrades.

Tobias was buried on the cemetery in Wildeshausen, Germany.
