Miss Bertha Humberstone, of Moline, Illinois, and Alfred C.Abitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Abitz, 815 N. Fourth street, wore united in marriage Oct. 24, 1924 Friday evening at the parsonage of the First Methodist Episcopal church in Moline, Illinois. The Rev. Mr. Semans performed the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of blue velvet trimmed, with ermine fur and a hat to correspond. Mr.and Mrs. Abitz have gone on a wedding trip to Sioux City, Iowa, making the trip by motor. They are visiting there with the groom's sister, Mrs. Robert Cartwright, upon their return they will make their home at 436 Fourth avenue in Moline, ILL.
