Paul's other pets:
* BENNY was Paul and Barbara's first pet. He was a lovely little Pug who came to live with them in September of 1967. He was a puppy purchased at the Puppy Palace in the Barclay Farm Shopping Center. He was with them when both daughters were born and played with the girls when they were young. Benny disappeared one evening in December of 1972 from the front yard of the house. Paul went inside to get more Christmas lights, for maybe 2 minutes, came back out and Benny was never seen again.
* ALEX was a Scottish Terrier who was at the pet store and was suffering from rickets. He was given to Paul to restore to health in the winter of 1968/69. Alex recovered and became a member of the family. Paul and Barbara had good friends from Medford who fell in love with Alex. They gave Alex to Skip and Marge in the spring of 1970. He went on to live a long and happy life with them in Medford.
* DESIREE, a Poodle, came from AWA in 1974. She was a sweet dispositioned dog. She was supposedly fixed but it was obvious when she had four mixed breed puppies that she was not. She disappeared in 1982.
* CHARLIE, their second Siamese Cat, came as a kitten from a house on Grove Street in Haddonfield in August of 1987. He became very attached to their daughter, Christine, and he went to live with her after her marriage.
