Hellen Marie Rolen Arles
ROFF – Services for Hellen Marie Rolen Arles, 55, were held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 10 at the Assembly of God Church in Tishomingo, officiated by Rev. Johnny Rolen. Interment followed in the Connerville Cemetery.
The daughter of Robert and Bertha Huffman Rolen, Arles was born October 25, 1938 in Minko, Oklahoma. She died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1993 in Ada.
Arles was a lifelong resident of Johnston and Pontotoc Counties. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rolen; one sister, Ruby Jordan; one daughter, Donna Marie Arles; and one son, Michael Ray Arles.
Survivors include four sons, Robert, Dewayne and Floyd Arles, all of Ada, and Donnie Arles of Sulphur; Two daughters, Karen Vanderburg of Roff and Sheila Trent of Ada; Five brothers, Robert and Frinchey Rolen of Fittstown, Carol and Floyd Rolen of Oklahoma City, and Alvin Rolen of Loco; three sisters, Rita Briscoe of Milburn, Mary Murphy of Wapanucka and Corena Cravatt of Odessa, Texas; and her mother, Bertha Faye Rolen.
Alex Arles, Floyd Arles, Tomie Briscoe, Casey Briscoe, Terry Varnell and Edgar Murphy served as pallbearers, Honorary pallbearers were Don Rolen and Larry Murphy.
Services were under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home.
