James Harley Allman passed away Aug. 6, 2012, in Tulsa, Okla., as a result of a car accident.

He was born Aug. 30, 1990, in Gaston County, and would have turned 22 on August 30 of this year.

Harley was a caring and loving son, a protective brother and a good friend who was taken from this world all too soon. He was a hard working lineman, following in his father's footsteps. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing and pickin on his younger sister.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Pickelsimer Allman and her fiancé, Dale Millsaps; father, James Ray Allman and his fiancée, Diana Snyder; fiancée, Nikki Hill of South Carolina; sister, Chasity Allman of Lowell; half brother, Jessie Allman of Crouse; step brother, John Millsaps of Lowell; step sister, Megan Millsaps of Lowell; grandparents, Ronnie and Brenda Isley of Gastonia; grandmother, Anita Rose Pressley of Lowell; special cousin, Christopher Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Harley Pickelsimer, Mack Allman; great-grandparents, Roy and Martha Murray.

Memorials may be made to James Harley Allman burial fund, c/o Linda Allman, 203 S. Clay St., Lowell, NC 28098.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, North Carolina, officiated by the Rev. Austin Rammell.

The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia, North Carolina.
