Delores Mae Barrett was born July 6, 1936 to Joseph and Josephine Zezel at their home in Hibbing. She passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth on March 30, 2012.
Delores had worked as a surgical nurse for many years at Hibbing General Hospital and Central Mesabi Medical Center. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Minnesota Nurses Association. She enjoyed baking, crafts, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, a son, 3 daughters. 9 grandchildren, a great-grandson, a brother,3 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews.
