Paul was an automotive writer who wrote 10 musclecar books throughout his career, and is well known throughout the Pontiac hobby as author of Pontiac GTO Restoration Guide 1964-1972 (with Chuck Roberts); Illustrated GTO Buyer's Guide; Pontiac's Greatest Decade 1959-1969: The Wide Track Era (An Illustrated History); GTO, 1964-1967 (Muscle Car Color History); GTO Recognition Guide; and GTO: The Legend Returns.. He was co-author on Jim Wangers' Glory Days: When Passion and Horsepower Ruled Detroit.He was on the board of directors of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky. Playing a role on helping to get the doors open on Labor Day 1994. He was a Husband, Father and Grandfather. He loved Greyhound dogs and was an advocate on there adoption after there racing days were over.
