MEMORIAL MANAGER'S NOTE ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE IN THE NAMES ON THE HEADSTONE AND THE MEMORIAL
The surnames of Sarrapere and Sarrapede are variants of Serrapede. Arcangela's married name is entered as it appears on the Death Certificate. The headstone in the photo is placed on the exact spot Calvary gave me for her burial. FindAGrave photographer Marcial has clearly shown this in one of his photographs. Plots 13-16 are in the one location under the large headstone. Arcangela's name and her husband's name are not engraved on the stone. Further research is underway to determine if Arcangela's husband Sabato Sarrapere changed his surname from Serrapede. If so he was the son of Gennaro and Rosa (nee Scotti) Serrapede. This memorial will be updated after more documentation is located. Further contact to be made with Calvary regarding the interment.
