Sylvia Mae Baumgarden, 86, Bolivar, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility.

The daughter of David C. and Clara A. Miller Bryant, she was born at Kindrick, Colo., May 7, 1919.

Sylvia and Everett Baumgarden were married Oct. 6, 1940. They lived for several years at Collins before moving to Bolivar.

Mrs. Baumgarden was a homemaker and a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church.

Mrs. Baumgarden parents and two brothers, David C. Bryant, Jr. and Harley Bryant, preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband of the home; one daughter of Raytown; a sister-in-law of Concordia; two step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 21 in Murray Funeral Home, Bolivar. Interment was in Robinson Cemetery east of Collins.
