MULLINS - Walter L. Allread, 55 years old, died at the James L. Martin Hospital this morning at 11 o'clock after a heart illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Cox Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mr. Hill and the Rev. E. G. Beckman officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Allread was a farmer and a native of Rome, Ga. He was a son of Mrs. Lucy Carter Allread and the late Jesse Allread.
Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Miss Margaret Allread of Charlotte and Mullins; two sons, Walter L. Allread, Jr. and Ernest Allread of Mullins; and five sisters and three brothers.
